Menu ujung Ramadhan – Asam Rebus Tempoyak!

Resepi ni not really my favorite. Tapi bini gua suka giler….hahaha

So today it will be Asam Rebus Tempoyak. Bagus untuk dijadikan hidangan berbuka and all the same, untuk bersahur. Kalau dah panaskan balek sure silap haribulan sampai subuh dok makan lagi. Kalau demam, ni pun boleh dijadikan pembuka selera. Anyhow, kepada yang tak suka tempoyak, this may not gel with their taste-bud. But if you pair it with ikan goreng panas n nasi panas you may have a second thought! Enuff said, here it goes.

Bahan-bahan untuk di kisar (A)

6 bawang merah

2 ulas bawang putih

4 cili merah

3 cili padi

Kunyit hidup

1/2 inci halia

Kasi tumbuk/kisar whatever sampai jadi paste and then mixed well with 2/3 sudu makan tempoyak. (The quantity for tempoyak depends on you la, kalau u suka boleh bubuh lebih, kalau tak suka bubuh sikit je. This also depends on the type of the tempoyak, ada yg memang dah cukup masam, ada yg baru bikin…so pandai-pandai la adjust)

Other ingredients are:

1 cube stock ikan bilis

1 sudu gula

garam secukup rasa

2/3 asam keping

1″ lengkuas (tak nak pun tak perrr)

sedikit daun kesum

1 daun kunyit yg di robek2

1 serai dititik

taugeh kasar

sedikit udang kasar

cara-caranya

didihkan tiga cawan air dalam periuk

masukkan bahan2 yg dikisar dan kacau

masukkan asam keping, lengkuas, serai, cube ikan bilis, asam keping, dan bring to boil. Masukkan daun kesum, daun kunyit dan taugeh kasar. Last sekali masukkan garam, gula, apa2 seasoning yang adalah secukup rasa. And finally tutup api and masukkan udang.

Lepas tu korang bedal lah besama nasi panas, ikan goreng, ulam rampai n sambal belacan. Mesti nanges punya wa cakap luuu hahahaha…..

    Yep. Cooking iz me hobby. Last week baru bikin nasi ayam hainan….Diz raya am planning laksa johor…nyum nyum…
